Outreach ProgramsDNA & Development Lab Teaching Undergraduate Neuroscience Basic research in the Division is translated into applied research, frequently in collaboration with faculty in other units at MU, and that in turn strengthens the State's economy and the quality of life for all its citizens.
Our faculty members also participate in cross-disciplinary outreach programs on a regular basis such as Saturday Morning Science and the Scientific Partnership and Resource Connection. |

Because science exposure in the pre-college years is critical to the development of future life science professionals, research scientists and a scientifically literate citizenry, we have collaborated with other units, especially Science Education, to develop unique outreach programs for secondary school science teachers and their students in Missouri.
